Welcome to RavenCraft, a new World of Warcraft emulation project based in Europe and built on the latest version of Turtle WoW - 1.18.1.

RavenCraft is led by former contributors to the 1.18.1 Turtle WoW project who wanted to preserve the version we helped create. This server is our way of carrying forward the legacy of the 1.18.1 era while taking it in our own direction with continued development, new content, and long-term support.

Many other projects are using outdated versions of Turtle WoW from a code leak over 2 years ago. They are attempting to replicate content from version 1.17 to 1.18.1, however it is impossible to do so and is resulting in AI slop driven code. We, on the other hand, have the original 1.18.1 version ready to go.

Our official launch is set for August 22.

The server will follow a phased content progression, with the full phase schedule being announced soon. We believe this is the best way for the community to experience progression together and gives us the opportunity to deliver each phase in a polished state.
